Description:
There are two different departments; the roasting the department, and the grinding department. In the roasting department you will be operating a big machine that will roast the coffee beans, and your job is to to get them to the proper roast whether it’s low, medium, or high. You will be required to use a color chart to match the beans up with and decide when they are done roasting. In the grinding department you will be operating a machine that grinds the coffee beans into a powder and making sure that they are ground according to the order, whether it’s coarse or fine ground coffee.
In both departments you will be using a digital touch screen panel to operate vacuums that suck the beans or powder through the duct system. The screen will also be used to control temperature, speed, etc. according to the production process. You will also be working on an actual desktop computer to enter information and follow numbers in their computer program. Physically you will be asked to perform any setups, changeovers, or troubleshooting necessary on a day to day basis, using a variety of hand or power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Additional skills that are helpful or that candidates have had success having would be anyone who has done automotive mechanic work. if you have worked in a sop before or maybe do your own oil changes, tire rotations, brakes, etc. that can be a great skill to have. Individuals who have previously worked in construction (also need to have manufacturing experience) using a variety of hand and power tools, have also found success in the position.
