Vice President of Talent Acquisition

We want a leader that will create and deploy talent acquisition strategies, Sales/BD strategies and tactics that strengthen recruiting capabilities at Yochana while maximizing existing resources. We want this person to understand our vision, our business and strategy, the employee base, and have exceptional leadership competencies and behaviors. The VP of Talent Acquisition demonstrates decisiveness, gets into the details, and models the organization’s cultural values and attributes, while implementing the TA operating model to deliver improved processes, tools, strategic programs, and delivery channels to increase ROI and efficiencies.
What will you do?
Be ultimately accountable for demand being fulfilled at a client and Adding New Logo’s
Oversee the full-cycle recruiting process; setting policies and processes for different parts of the process, measuring KPIs for each part of the process, understanding market competitiveness and coordinating recruiter communication, developing sales skills, leading the interview process to ensure a strong positive candidate experience, and providing interview and feedback training
Develop processes for forecasting demand, by skill, to be planned for the medium term, and creating fulfillment plans for the short term
Lead sourcing strategies through a variety of sourcing channels including the use of social media with an emphasis on passive candidate attraction and maximizing the benefits of recruiting tools
Develop a process to ensure that a pipeline for candidates is always available for each service line and institutionalize the principle of “ABC” – Always Be Closing for candidates – in the entire talent organization. Directly participate in institutional planning providing broad mentorship and coordination to various teams
Manage, leverage and challenge existing recruiting strategies, methods, and systems to generate a proactive and efficient approach to sourcing, assessing and on-boarding qualified talent
Collaborate with leadership to define the organization’s long-term talent acquisition mission and goals; identify innovative and creative ways to support this mission through talent management
Develops customer relationships, builds strong customer partnerships, and represents Yochana and provides thought leadership to the broad customer community
Identifies, shapes, and recommends new business opportunities and wins new relevant business across the market to meet the established business growth goals
Establish a presence at key customer locations. 20%-30% travel with ability to conduct business independently and professionally throughout market, including customer sites
Formulates strategies and plans to acquire new business, assists in the development of short and long-range marketing plans
Performs administrative, analytical and research activities in support of the business development, strategic planning, proposal development and marketing functions
Maintain knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, immigration law, and talent management
You’ll need to have:
At least eight years of Talent Acquisition experience required, with 5+ years of leadership experience, 5 years of New Business Development specifically leading and developing recruiting and Sales operations in high pressure and growth-oriented companies
In-depth knowledge about local and international Talent Acquisition Processes (sourcing, talent acquisition, schedule coordination, ATS, full time versus C2C hiring, general employment legislation, etc.)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills, along with an ability to respect candidate and organizational confidentiality and demonstrate discretion
Strong emotional intelligence and passion for building relationships across all levels of an organization
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
