Job Mission
ASML US, its affiliates, subsidiaries, and business teams are critically dependent on their ability to leverage enterprise / business process data from internal business systems and applications, from suppliers, and from customers to run, optimize, and improve our business operations and services.The processing, enrichment, and consumption of this data is essential to improve business processes, drive operational performance improvements and continuously increase efficiencies in customer service and business operations.
This role is based in San Diego, CA. The mission of this position is to manage and support business critical data management and analytics platforms for Cymer Light Source (CLS). In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining data management and analytics solutions in-line with technology updates, organizational demands, and user specifications. You will support a full range of environments and operational processes, identify areas of improvement, implemented and release functional and technical updates, support performance optimization efforts, and provide technical support for customers’ needs. You will also be encouraged to understand current trends in data management and analytics solutions and apply those concepts to the platforms and systems you manage.
This position may require access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require the Company to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
The selected candidate will be part of the ASML IT Solution Delivery Analytics US team and be responsible for maintaining and operating business critical data management platforms for CLS. Platforms in scope include but are not limited to Denodo and SAP Business Objects.
This role entails providing technical support and expertise to the users, testing applications, maintaining software, responding to customers, and leading demonstrations and training. The selected IT data platforms engineer must have a strong command of data engineering and data management programming languages, software application processes, and general technology disciplines.

Duties and Responsibilities
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical domain, with 3 years of relevant experience.Master’s degree preferred.
