Responsibilities*
10% – Maintaining general lab equipment and managing the general operation of the laboratory.
20% – Maintaining cell culture lines, performing cloning, and generation of stable cell lines.
20% – Protein purification for various projects in the lab.
20% – Supervise and mentor undergraduate researchers and graduate students.
30% – Work on the engineering of synthetic cells capable of intercellular communication.
Required Qualifications*
BS in life sciences or biological engineering disciplines is required; Master’s degree preferred, plus 1-3 years of lab experience.
Additional Information
The expected start date of this position is September 3, 2024. This is a term-limited position for one year, through September 2, 2025.
This position is at 80% effort. The salary range listed is for the full-time rate. The actual pay will be 80% of the full-time rate.
