Position Description:
Ryerson has an opening for a Senior Accountant position. As a Senior Accountant, you will have the opportunity to work on special projects, including government reports and system automation.

Roles and responsibilities:
* Preparation of SEC filings and disclosures, including 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, etc.
* Preparation of consolidated financial statements using the OneStream tool
* Research technical accounting areas and other significant accounting transactions
* Work with external auditors during the annual audit process and quarterly reviews
* Assist in the monthly close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
* Review the XBRL tagging process for quarterly and year-end SEC filings
* All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice
Position Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* 3 plus years of accounting experience
* CPA preferred
* Strong Excel skills, including knowledge of macros
* Process automation and knowledge of IT systems, including Alteryx or SAP
*Strong writing and communication skills
