In accordance with the City and County of Denver Public Health Order, this position requires that the
individual holding the position be fully COVID-19 vaccinated by September 30, 2021. Candidate selected for this position will be asked

SELECTION PROCESS
Community College of Denver is

GENERAL SUMMARY
This is a Temporary
Grant-funded position that is anticipated to last through May 2023.
Senior Accountant,
Grants and Compliance assist with general accounting support functions including the preparation of reconciliations, period closes,
projections, reports, assistance with the general ledger. This person will need to know and apply accounting theory and principles, and
ensure observance of professional standards and state rules including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, Governmental Accounting
Standards, Higher Education Accounting Standards, State Fiscal Rules, CCCS and College procedures. Senior Accountant, Grants and
Compliance will also need to know, understand and apply federal and state grant rules, regulations, and guidance.
PRIMARY DUTIES
Senior Accountant, Grants and Compliance Professional Duties
· Provide professional level support to the Controller, Assistant Controller, and
Fiscal Grant Manager in grant and financial aid scholarship activities, including:
Perform General Accounting Support and Documentation Functions
Capital Construction Accounting
College Travel Support and Reconciliation
Special projects and other duties as assigned.
