Job Description |
Support the Advancement Operations team by helping to ensure that donor/alumni records are kept up-to-date and accurate using a variety of provided sources. |
Primary Responsibilities |
(90%) General data entry of provided biographical information (address/phone/employment, etc.). Occasionally, may need to verify information using a variety of online resources. Other data entry could include the upload of scanned documents and adding activity notes to donor/alumni records. (10%) General clerical support as assigned and occasional ad-hoc projects such as helping with small event preparation (nametags/invitations) or donor engagement activities such as preparing packages or thank you cards for mailing. |
Qualifications |
Basic experience with Excel (sorting/copying data in spreadsheets), ability to learn computer applications quickly and comfortable using google searches and other available resources to occasionally confirm biographical information. Understand the sensitive nature of personal information and maintain confidentiality (i.e. donor information, gift amounts, etc.) Must be detail-oriented and self-check the accuracy of work Must be self-motivated, work well independently to solve problems but assertive in asking for guidance from other team members when needed Must be a current student of NKU or incoming Freshman/Transfer Student |
