Job DescriptionFunctions as an integral member of a team of care providers on a patient care unit to provide patient care and supportive services. Patients and their family will experience the benefits of patient focused care through the integrated skills of all care team members. Responsible for coordinating/gathering all documentation related to the patient chart. They provide a variety of clerical support services under the direction of the RN-PCC and in collaboration with other members of the patient focused care team. Overall responsibilities include processing of orders, verification of forms for accuracy and completeness and dissemination of information on the unit. Position Located at The Ross Heart Hospital.Minimum Education RequiredPer Classified Civil Svc Specs or equivalent combination of education and experienceRequired QualificationsAbility to calculate fractions, decimals and percentages and to read and write common vocabulary and medical terminology plus: 1 month experience or 1 course in office practices and procedures; 1 month experience or 1 course in public relations; 1 month experience or 1-course in data entry or typing.
