How Is This Role Important to Our Work?
The Senior Human Resources Systems Analyst is a very hands-on role working closely with the HRIS team and other internal partners to support various Workday modules and provide advanced tier support of issues and various project initiatives! The Human Resources Systems Analyst Sr will support one or more of the Workday areas listed below:
A Day in the Life:
Work closely with the HR team to administer and support all HR system technologies and enhancements that improve HR operational efficiency and effectiveness
Perform hands on configuration and updates (including custom validations and condition rules) to the various Workday modules as needed to resolve issues and enhance feature request
Consult with business owners and technical teams to understand requirements, configure, prototype and test Workday solutions for varying business requirement
Develop calculated fields, reports, and dashboards to deliver data to internal partners
Troubleshoot and resolve reported issues to ensure timely resolution
Successfully own and lead projects through the full project lifecycle to completion and successful adaptation
Write and maintain business requirements, functional specifications, test plans, and training documentation
Lead Workday major release impact on configurations and integrations identifying risks and opportunities for enhancements
Required Skills and Experiences:
7+ years of related professional experience. All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered.
Excellent customer focus and the ability to understand customer needs and build relationships
Clear and effective communicator, able to communicate with colleagues with credibility including in a remote working situation, and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively and function as a dependable teammate
Demonstrated good judgement and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive data.
Must be a self-starter with the ability to lead multiple work assignments and priorities with urgent deadlines, maintaining excellent customer service skills, while working in a fast-paced team environment
Advanced skills in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel (v lookups, pivots, macros, etc.).
Proven critical thinking skills.
Ability to analyze and document complex business processes.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to compile, analyze, interpret, and present employee information and data accurately and with attention to detail
Nice to Have:
Bachelor’s degree in a field that emphasizes analyzing, displaying, or reporting on data (e.g., computer science, math, engineering, economics, statistics, psychology)
Prefer experience in Workday
Role Designation:
Hybrid Remote
Role designation definition: Teleworking is working full time remote. Hybrid is a combination of working onsite and remotely. Onsite is full-time onsite.
