GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:

Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager, the primary responsibility of the IT Helpdesk Support team member is to support Perry’s team members with IT requests and problem resolution by serving as the main contact for the IT Help Desk. As part of the Infrastructure Team, they will also work closely with other members of IT on Infrastructure projects. Share in providing team-based coverage for after-hours support.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to):

Help Desk

• Document all helpdesk activities to keep both IT and team members informed
• Escalate requests to other members of IT when appropriate
• Requests/incidents

• Troubleshoot, research potential solutions, and determine the appropriate action
• Follow established procedures to execute standard requests (changes to Active Directory, Email, Phone System, Handhelds, etc.)
• Suggest appropriate actions for non-standard requests

• Update inventory of IT assets when executing changes
• Develop, update, and maintain documentation for both IT and team member processes
• Provide assistance to other members of the IT team as be needed from time to time
• Assist with imaging PC/Laptops
• Assist with new Team member account creation and removals

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2 years professional work experience preferred
• Working knowledge of basic networking concepts: DNS, DHCP, LAN, WAN
• Demonstrated proficiency though related experience, training, certification and/or education in the following:

• Microsoft Office 365 Services
• Microsoft Windows Remote Desktop Services
• Microsoft Windows installation / configuration
• Microsoft Active Directory (member management)
• IP Phone Systems
• IT troubleshooting
