Our client is a dynamic and growing restaurant operator with over 30 locations at airports in the US. They have aggressive growth plans and are seeking a Human Resource Coordinator to support their Director of HR and HR Business Partners.
Salary range in the 60-65k range. Monday through Friday schedule. This position may require working 1 day per week at DIA to support their management and restaurant operations teams.
Responsibilities
· Handle confidential, sensitive, and time critical material with professionalism, tact, and discretion
· Maintain calendar and scheduling to include day-to-day and long-term management of meetings, projects, and priorities. Ensure preparation for upcoming appointments by gathering materials necessary, assisting with meeting agendas, and reserving and preparing meeting facilities.
· Prioritize email and phone communications and respond appropriately. Compose and send routine correspondence.
· Draft/edit correspondence, reports, presentations, etc. and assist with any variety of HR-related work, e.g., policies and procedures, job descriptions, job postings, benefit-related support, employee announcements, service awards, employee surveys, etc.
· Coordinate and manage special projects, including working with other staff members in a collaborative and supportive manner to ensure project deadlines are met. Create and implement new systems and processes as needed/requested and maintain/keep updated SOPs for the department.
· Be/become the Ultipro expert for the department and company.
· Help identify, develop, coordinate, and schedule training sessions and seminars.
· Make travel arrangements, including air, hotel, rental car, etc. to ensure efficient, timely arrival/departure and prepare expense reports as requested/needed.
· Produce and submit reports on general/various HR activities.
· Work with and provide back up support for other team members across company operations as may be directed by the Chief of Staff.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· 10-year TSA criminal background check
· Minimum 3 years’ experience supporting one or more executives in a corporate office setting
· Prior experience in Human Resources preferred
· Current experience of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook and proficient use of office equipment (e.g., computers, copiers, fax, multi-line telephones, etc.)
· Highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication
· Solution finder able to effectively address and overcome obstacles in a thoughtful, strategic manner with a high degree of professionalism.
· Proven critical thinking, decision making, and time management skills.
· Proven ability to successfully work independently, as well as within a team, in a fast-paced environment.
· Flexible to managing frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
