Payrate: $42/hr
Contract Only -Looking for professional contractors
REMOTE w/ 30% Travel for events
-Large well known web based company focusing in the real estate market
-Supporting roadshow of events all over the country working with an event in each area.
-Planning events around 200 people from planning to execution to follow up
-Looking for someone who has experience working in corporate events
-Self starter who can be successful with minimal direction and is skilled in event planning
-This person will have to be accountable and able to multi task with demanding priorities
Large website based real estate company is looking for an Event Manager with proven event project management expertise coupled with both strong interpersonal skills and strong communication skills. This individual will lead in the management of many large events. A proven skill set managing high-level events and a strong interest in creating unforgettable attendee experiences aligned to business objectives is required.
Run events from concept through completion working with all internal stakeholders and external vendors to make sure everything goes according to plan
Manage all logistics for events including workback, run of show, site selection, food and beverage vendors, technical production, event collateral and printing, shipping and receiving, etc.
Manage event registration platform. Responsibilities include building websites, sending outbound communications, and pulling together performance measurement data & survey results for presentation to key event and marketing stakeholders.
Provide onsite support for in-person events in both a lead & secondary capacity
Look for ways to consistently create experiences within budget that surprise and delight
Identify and manage any necessary tradeshow experiences. Elevate the presence to match the company’s innovation and expertise in the real estate sphere
Manage all projects at or under allocated budget, paying close attention to detail and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial reconciliation.
Who you are
8+ years of experience in events, experiential marketing or creative agency roles – specific background in audio visual production a plus.
You require very little direction day-to-day and can easily understand what is required to get the job done.
You can resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways and you’re an ambitious and creative individual with high ethical standards.
You are all about the details and have strong multi-tasking and time management skills including effectively prioritizing and executing tasks conforming to shifting priorities, demands and timelines.
You love to work both independently and in a collaborative environment.
Experience with event registration platforms and tools such as Splash.
Customer experience oriented with strong customer service skills, specifically communication through phone, in-person conversation, and email.
Able to be onsite and travel to events approximately 1-2 times a month – varies based on event calendar.
You have a proven proficiency in software applications, including Google drive and apps, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Splash, Smartsheet and other technology as adopted by the team.
Minimum five years of event management experience including proven examples of strong overall event ownership for a top tier executive audience
