Job Description:
The BFA in Graphic Design and BA in Fine Art programs seek qualified adjunct
professors to teach ART206 Elements of Computer Graphics. A requirement for all Graphic Design and Fine Art majors, this on-campus studio
course is an introduction to vector-based drawing, photo imaging and page layout softwares on the Mac platform. Interrelation and
appropriate use of applications is emphasized. Basic file management, scanning, output and hardware and software terminology and industry
practices will be covered. Classes consist of lecture, demonstrations, studio work, and critique.
Other duties include holding office
hours and communicating with department faculty.
Requirements:
Candidates should have a BFA in Graphic Design or
related area and a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in their discipline. An MFA and/or teaching experience is preferred.
Candidates will demonstrate excellence and experience in their field.
