Vice President Human Resources
Yondr is looking for a Vice President of Human Resources, the most senior level HR Role supporting our growing global company. Since its founding in 2014, Yondr’s phone-free experiences have become a necessary part of modern life, allowing people to fully experience what they are doing and who they are doing it with. To be entirely in the moment. We work with partners around the world to create these environments in schools, live entertainment venues, courtrooms, and dozens of other spaces.
The successful candidate will lead the effort to build a world class people organization. You understand, and have a deep connection to, the culture and value system of Yondr by embodying Yondr’s mission to live and thrive in the real world, unencumbered by today’s technology.
You will develop HR processes and programs for the organization, and partner with other leaders to lift performance. You understand how a business is run, and how the entire enterprise connects in order to deliver great service to our partners and guests.
This position can be based in New York, Los Angeles, or Portland, OR. The role reports to the CEO / Founder, but with very close relationships with other senior leaders.
Responsibilities:
● Develop a compelling people strategy, including: leadership development; compensation and benefits; diversity and inclusion; coaching and performance management; organizational design; succession planning; and change management programs that deliver measurable business impact.
● Serve as a key member of the leadership team, partnering to create a compelling brand and vision to ensure we attract, engage, retain, and develop top talent.
● Key leader in the effort to ensure that Yondr embodies its values system through every decision and action. Models and reinforces our culture by ensuring that HR practices are aligned with organizational objectives in a consistent and fair manner.
● Serves as a trusted advisor to the executive leadership team; shows innovation and forward-thinking orientation to plan HR efforts, contribute to business growth, and solve challenges.
● Build core HR programs for the business including talent reviews, succession planning, quarterly performance enablement, employee sentiment surveys, compensation planning, and compliance matters at all levels.
● Implements professional development plans that advance skill sets with a view to future workforce needs.
Requirements:
● BA/BS required; advanced degree in human resources related area or MBA strongly preferred. But proven experience and passion matter most.
● Experience working in a high-growth, fast-paced global environment. Track record of success within a values-driven organization.
● Proven communication and influencing skills, with a demonstrated capacity to effectively communicate complex ideas and business concepts to multiple levels and disciplines.
● Minimum of 15 years of HR Business Partnering and other relevant HR experience. Well-rounded experience in multiple HR disciplines highly preferred.
● Demonstrated ability to influence senior executives, understand and translate human capital strategies to positively impact the organization, including senior level experience in talent development, organizational design and scaling, team development, and organization effectiveness practices.
● Curiosity and the ability to learn the business and understand what drives business results and outcomes.
● Experience with implementation of Diversity and Inclusion initiatives strongly preferred.

Pay: $150,000.00 – $225,000.00 per year
