Xavier University is seeking applications for the position of Director of Events, Cintas Center. This position will report to the Associate Athletic Director for External Relations and is responsible for a full array of event planning and execution for Xavier University’s Cintas Center. The Cintas Center, opened in June 2000, includes a 10,224 seat arena, large open concourse, auxiliary gym, and multiple meeting and event spaces. The Cintas Center is a full-service venue with event planning, catering and audio visual staff members experienced in hosting conferences, meetings, social events, tradeshows and more. Required Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of event planning experience is preferred. A successful candidate for this position is a self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills, has the ability to work independently and in a professional and positive manner. They can successfully manage multiple tasks while being flexible and agile. Other abilities include but not limited to: managing multiple events simultaneously; ability to prioritize and meet deadlines; and ability to understand and utilize the SalesForce platform is preferred.
