Position Summary:
The incumbent will report to the Head Coach Football and will work within a rigorous environment developing high functioning athletes in their assigned coaching area, i.e., guards, backs, etc. The individual will also have responsibilities in the areas of recruitment, academic support, and skill training as it relates to developing a successful NCAA Division I football program.
Conditions of Employment:
• Yearly completion of the NCAA compliance certification.
• CPR certification or completed within 6 months of employment.
• Work schedule includes frequent evenings and weekends as well as overnight travel to sport events.
• Must meet physical requirements for the job, including the ability to withstand extreme weather conditions for prolonged periods of time and participate and lead strenuous physical activities, both indoors and out.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree. Significant and relevant experience may be substituted for a degree.
• Playing or coaching experience at the collegiate level;
• Experience as a defensive, offensive or recruiting coordinator at the collegiate level.
• Skills or competencies related to the sport.
• Demonstrates strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrates proven leadership abilities through prior playing and/or coaching experience.
• Demonstrated abilities to lead small and large group discussions.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to utilize the latest advances in technology.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Collegiate playing and/or coaching experience at the Division I level.

Advertised Pay Range:
$45,000-$55,000
Advertised Pay Range Statement:
All hiring rates are commensurate with relevant experience up to the advertised amount considering internal alignment.
