General Statement of Duties: The Master of Science in Accounting program invites applicants to apply for the adjunct faculty pool for positions beginning in the 2023/2024 academic year. Successful candidates will teach courses in the Master of Science in Accounting program, according to candidate specialization and departmental need.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:

• Teach course(s) in the Master of Science in Accounting program
• Responsible for instructional preparation and assessment of student performance
• Provide assistance to students by appointment

COURSES INCLUDE:

• Contemporary Professional Accounting Problems
• Financial Statement Disclosure and Analysis
• Issues in Accounting for Public Companies
• Advanced Cost Accounting

Requirements:

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in related field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Teaching experience at the graduate level
• Work experience in related field

Additional Information:

Salary:
For the majority of new employees, the minimum starting salary will apply. Specific salary for current Westfield State University employees and individuals currently working for the state of Massachusetts must be calculated individually in accordance with collective bargaining and state policies and procedures.
