Position Summary:
The primary location of this position is on the main Cullowhee, NC campus.
The Executive Assistant (EA) is an executive level administration position in support of to the College of Engineering and Technology (CET) and assists the dean of the college with a variety of tasks. This position requires high-level communication and organizational skills.
The EA must be able to work in a team-based environment, collaborating effectively with multiple units across campus to successfully execute functions, events, and programs that support the college. The EA will understand and follow university systems and policies.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalency and three years of progressively responsible administrative/office management experience;
or Associate’s degree in secretarial science, business administration, or a related discipline and one year of progressively responsible administrative/office management experience ; or Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business administration or a related discipline; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree and experience performing similar duties along with required qualifications is preferred. Possess a high degree of proficiency in computer software such as Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Preference will be given to applicants knowledgeable in University software including Banner, Navigate, Canvas, and 25Live.
