About the Opportunity
West Virginia University’s (WVU) Health Affairs Institute is seeking candidates for a full-time Survey Program Coordinator. This position applies expert knowledge of survey administration methods to assist with coordinating statewide, population focused surveys for the Health Affairs Institute, WVU and other state and agency partners, as the Health Affairs Institute frequently engages in collaborative efforts with the WV Department of Health and Human Resources (WV DHHR) and other state and nonprofit partners that hold a mission to improve the health of West Virginians. Ideal candidates will have experience coordinating or supporting survey administration efforts. This position requires a wide range of skills and knowledge of State and WVU programs, policies and procedures. This position will report directly to the Assistant Director of Survey Administration.
The Health Affairs Institute serves as the coordinating office for WVU’s State-University partnership with the WV DHHR. Ideal candidates will have work experience that aligns with the Health Affair’s Institute purpose and the mission of DHHR’s Bureau for Medical Services, Bureau for Social Services, Bureau for Behavioral Health or Bureau for Public Health, and an interest in improving the health of underserved populations, particularly rural, Appalachian populations.
