It is the mission of the Professional Testing Center (PTC) at West Chester University to provide high quality educational testing and exceptional customer service, within a technologically appropriate facility. We are committed to providing students and working professionals both at West Chester University and the surrounding Mid-Atlantic region with testing options to assist in their journey for academic and professional fulfillment. The Professional Testing Center at West Chester University subscribes to all NCTA Standards and Guidelines for Post-Secondary Test Centers.
The PTC Coordinator is a key administrator for the WCU Professional Testing Center – the university’s computer-based testing lab. Under the leadership of the Associate Director of Candidate Services, this position contributes to the Professional Education Unit-wide initiatives that enhance the candidate’s experience.
Responsibilities Include:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to organize and prioritize work in a high volume setting and manage multiple tasks; ability to analyze, proof and enter data on a variety of formats, and review for accuracy, completeness and appropriateness; experience problem solving computer software and hardware issues; and the ability to provide customer service to a variety of constituents.
The PTC Coordinator must be available to work occasional nights and weekends.
