Position responsible for performing the accurate and timely case selection for a Customer Order in a cold storage warehouse environment.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Ensure compliance to Food Safety and Quality programs and processes.
• Complete all job duties in accordance with safety procedures/policies, verbal instructions from Freezer Leadership, best practices, and work documents such as: Standard Operating Procedures, Standard Works, and Talking Points. Verbal instructions from Freezer Leadership.
• Select individual cases or layers of cases for a Customer Order.
• Retrieve assigned order selection work through a printed label that outlines what products will be selected and, in the quantities, ordered by the Customer.
• Stack the product on the pallet so that it is stable for shipment to the Customer.
• Ensure the pallet is ready to ship to the Customer by wrapping and storing the pallet so the Truck Loader can retrieve and load the pallet.

Pay: Starting rate is $25.19/hr with pay increases at 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months. Top rate of pay at 12 months is $28.00/hr. Night shift will receive an additional $1.50/hr for night shift differential.

Approximate start time of 4:55 PM or 6:55 PM. Normal shift length of 10-12 hours.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Warehouse experience and forklift knowledge preferred.
• Must know or be able to learn basic safety and orientation knowledge, systems flow and overview of all departments of the freezer, and be able to be trained in a specialized area of work.
• Must have time management and effective communication skills.
• Must be able to pass proficiency tests in the allotted amount of time after training.
• Must be able to meet the Physical Demand Assessment Standards.
