Position Summary:
The Brandcenter seeks a highly motivated
Program Manager to support the day-to-day management of both the center’s Extension Programs and Student Affairs/Industry Outreach
initiatives.This position reports to the Associate Director of Extension Programs and alongside the Associate Director of Student Affairs &
Industry Outreach. It also works in collaboration with the other members of the Brandcenter staff team (including Enrollment,
Communications, Operations and Student Affairs).
Typical Responsibilities:
Assist with the implementation of
Brandcenter’s Professional Development program (certificate-based programming which includes open enrollment courses, as well as custom
curriculums) and its MBA and Executive Master’s programs. Both of these programs are in a nascent stage, and the success of the foundational
elements will be key to the future of the programs.
Execute and implement strategic recruitment initiatives for a defined
category related to Brandcenter’s pipeline and active recruitment of quality candidates coming into and out of our extension program
offerings, including but not limited to, analyzing recruitment data, evaluating applications, making enrollment recommendations, determining
eligibility, and presenting recommendations to final reviewers.
Develop and facilitate small-group presentations in order to
generate interest in programs as well as convert interested prospects/clients to registered/applied.
Develop and analyze
effective external communications and best practices with regard to marketing campaigns to attract and convert prospective students,
including outreach to the Brandcenter’s vibrant alumni community.
Research, identify, and facilitate partnership
opportunities for recruitment, development, individual or custom courses, etc., and assist in developing and executing programs and related
support for instructors and program participants.
Assist with the implementation of Brandcenter’s Student Affairs/Industry
Outreach initiatives (Friday Forums, Orientation, Student Programming, Alumni Events, Recruiter Session, Graduation, etc.), including but
not limited to, assisting with event logistics, presentation materials, infographics, and other outreach needs.
Alongside
the Associate Director, manage day-to-day operations for Brandcenter’s student affairs, develop and maintain relationships with industry
partners, and assist with and enhance both the student and alumni experience.
Draft and manage communications via Slate
(CRM) to different groups (students, recruiters, alumni, etc.).
Serve as liaison to Brandcentral (student
organization).
Act as a representative of the Brandcenter to domestic and global business communities. This position may
include travel for recruitment, special promotions, events, and event management.
Participates as needed in special projects.

Minimum Qualifications:
A minimum of 2-4 years’ relevant work experience or equivalent combination
of education and experience.
Ability to work autonomously and in a team-based environment.
Ability to develop
and maintain a comprehensive competitive analysis and audit.
Ability to be a creative, collaborative problem
solver.
Must have strong written and oral communication skills and mature judgment.
Ability to build and
maintain strong working relationships.

Ability and willingness to work early mornings,
late evenings, and weekends as needed and serve as essential staff in emergencies.

establish facts, draw valid conclusions and suggest/provide solutions.
Computer skills and systems knowledge
required.
Be able to lift at least 20 pounds.
Be able to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours or as
needed.
Experience working in and fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment or the commitment to do so as an
employee at VCU.
Preferred Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree.
Two to four years of
business and/or administrative experience in a marketing and/or customer relations capacity.
Knowledge/experience of the
creative/advertising industry.
Prior experience in alumni relations and or development/fundraising.
One year
working with enterprise technology solutions such as Salesforce, Slate, Event Registration tools, Learning Management Systems (e.g., NovoEd,
Canvas), or Customer Relationship Management systems.

Typical Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40 hours
per week, and may require periodic weekend and evening hours. This position is in-person at the Brandcenter in Richmond, VA.
