The Learning & Development (L&D) department at Veolia Water Technologies and Solutions is dedicated to fostering a culture of continuous learning that drives business impact, enhances team performance, and facilitates individual growth. Role Summary:
The Learning & Development Coordinator role is crucial to the delivery of quality learning opportunities within VWTS for employees at all levels. The Learning & Development Coordinator is a support role for the Learning & Development (L&D) function within North America HR, and will be responsible for the day-to-day planning, coordination, and evaluation of VWTS Learning & Development programs, while supporting the Regional Learning Leader to develop and deliver training in all areas relevant to VWTS.
This role focuses on supporting the training and development needs of the North America regional workforce of ~4,000.
Key Success Factors:
Schedule and coordinate training workshops including sending email invitations and reminders, preparing and sending training materials, organizing venue and catering.
Be the first point of contact for L&D queries.
Manage and maintain the training schedule, calendar and email enquiries.
Assist with the research and instructional design of training materials including workbooks, slides and facilitator guides.
Facilitate HR & behavioral skills training workshops.
Assist with the design of e-learning modules.
Manage and maintain the L&D newsletter and Intranet page.
Ensure the timely input of training records into the Learning Management System.
Review evaluation form responses and provide necessary feedback to the facilitator.
Raise purchase orders and process invoices for approval and payment.
Review and refresh existing training materials.
Source new educational materials and remaining abreast of best practice L&D solutions.
Build a register and maintain relationships with a range of reputable training providers in the areas of leadership, management, customer service and other key L&D priorities.
Other duties as required or directed to ensure the achievement of the position objectives and other business objectives of VWTS.
Other Key Responsibilities:
Ensure effective communication networks are established and maintained with key stakeholders, both within VWTS and the external providers.
Work with Managers to assist in the identification of learning needs and to plan to respond to these
Promote NAM L&D in a positive manner
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in similar learning and development role.
Strong administrative skills and coordination skills including organizing, planning, time management and responsiveness to queries.
Great interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Experience in facilitating effective programs is desirable.
Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and articulate feasible solutions that address specific business needs.
Proven experience in project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Some travel may be required if facilitating workshops
