Overview
The Sorenson Legacy Foundation Center for Clinical Excellence and the Psychology Department seek candidates for a Psychologist position. Applicants must have experience in evaluating individuals for Autism and other developmental disorders. The hired individual will have a faculty appointment as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Psychology and serve as a member of the School Psychology Program faculty.
Located on the main campus in Logan, Utah, this is a 1.0 FTE, term appointment, 12-month fiscal year position. Review of applications is ongoing and will continue until the position is filled. The anticipated start date is July 1, 2023, although this is negotiable.

SCCE Highlights
The Sorenson Legacy Foundation Center for Clinical Excellence (SCCE; ) provides comprehensive clinical services and applied training across the lifespan, integrating across several programs and departments. Services are provided by teams of dedicated trainees and professionals who also engage in cutting-edge research related to clinical practices and interventions. Services provided in the SCCE include: Hearing and Balance, Speech-Language, Behavioral Health (including Psychology, Psychiatry, and Marriage and Family Therapy), and applied behavior analysis services. The Behavior Health clinic includes an Integrated Assessment team that conducts comprehensive interdisciplinary evaluations for youth and adults with suspected developmental / behavioral concerns.
Department Highlights
The Department of Psychology is located within the Emma Eccles Jones College of Education and Human Services. The department consists of over 30 faculty representing diverse areas of psychology. The department is one of the most research productive units in the college. Faculty enjoy collaborative relationships with those in the department as well as other departments in the college (e.g., Special Education and Rehabilitation) and across campus (e.g., Biology). A state-of-the-art psychology clinic is housed in the interprofessional Sorenson Center for Clinical Excellence. Our academic and clinical training program has a strong positive state and national reputation.
