Job Summary:
This position is a partner in local program delivery and works closely with the educators to ensure educational program delivery affiliated with Pierce County and Area 5, as well as additional support to the Pierce County office team and Area 5 Extension Director. This position provides support for outreach programs that benefit the community, works alongside our educators to ensure access to programs, facilities, and educational services for diverse audiences, acts as a multiplier of Extension educational programs, and serves as the public face of Extension.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for a variety of professional level work across a variety of administrative service areas including budget, finance, procurement, and human resources with impact across the institution in support of unit or institutional goals.

Required:
* Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional work environments and relationships
* Ability to effectively work with people from different cultural backgrounds, including those associated with race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, socioeconomic status, age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, and other aspects of human diversity
* Ability to communicate effectively using a variety of methods and technology
* Ability to work independently and productively with minimal supervision
Preferred:
* Experience with community-based outreach and education
* Experience with project management
* Experience managing multiple tasks, timelines, and schedules while maintaining high quality work
* Experience developing partnerships with other agencies, community-based services, or organizations

It is anticipated this position requires work be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location.
