Job Summary:
The position is in the School of Veterinary Medicine with the Comparative Ocular Pathology Laboratory of Wisconsin (COPLOW). Duties will include a variety of tasks such as: sample receiving (opening packages and sample preparation), data entry, filing histological slides and paraffin blocks, client communication via email and telephone, preparing mailings, document archival, assisting with organizational and administrative tasks, gathering follow-up information for research projects, and compiling reports/slides for pathologist projects.
Responsibilities:
Performs routine support in a laboratory to support diagnostic or research work. May calibrate and maintain equipment and creates and/or updates records. May handle administrative and logistical tasks.

Minimum $17.00 HOURLY

Additional Information:
This is a fixed-term finite / project appointment with a guaranteed length of twelve months from date of hire. This appointment may be extended an additional year as a fixed-term finite appointment or may become an ongoing appointment depending on funding, department need, and performance.
