Job Summary
The Director, ISSS, is responsible for
overall ISSS division administration including strategic planning, recruiting, training, evaluating and retaining staff, budgets, outreach
and advocacy. ISSS has eleven staff members as well as two GAs, six peer advisors, and an intern who provide support services to
international students and scholars, ensure compliance with federal immigration requirements for F and J visa holders at the University of
Utah, and provide programming to support international student success and integration in the campus and local community. The position
reports to the Chief Global Officer for the Office for Global Engagement (OGE) and is a member of the OGE leadership
team.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related area, or
equivalency (2 years related work experience may be substituted for 1 year of education). Eight years of progressively more responsible
management experience; and demonstrated leadership, human relations and effective communications skills required.
