The Institute of Biomedical Engineering (BME) is a multidisciplinary research community where investigators across engineering, medicine and dentistry collaborate to develop innovative solutions that address global challenges in human health. The Administrative Assistant – Undergraduate and Graduate Programs positon will report directly to the Education Officer. The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact, in the unit, for all enquiries from (prospective and current) students pertaining to their academic programs and will help guide students through their learning journeys by responding to questions and providing information about program requirements, curriculum pathways, and degree completion activities. Additionally, the successful candidate will assist with unit records management (e.g., data collection, entry, organization, etc.) and course scheduling. The Administrative Assistant will work collaboratively as an integral member of the Academic Programs Office to anticipate, identify, and resolve student conflicts to help the unit deliver a positive, impactful, and transformative student learning experience.

USW Pay Band 08 — $61,600 with an annual step progression to a maximum of $78,775. Pay scale and job class assignment is subject to determination pursuant to the Job Evaluation/Pay Equity Maintenance Protocol.
