Your opportunity:
The Department of Psychology is a science program and offers research-based BSc programs that focus on various aspects of behavior in humans and animals. We can only realize our mission with the dedication and excellence of engaged staff and faculty. The administrative team works collaboratively to meet the needs of faculty, sessional instructors, teaching assistants and students.
Under the general direction of the Manager, Finance & Operations, the Academic Counsellor/Undergraduate Program Administrator provides academic advising services to undergraduate students, assisting them in making decisions affecting their academic progress at U of T Mississauga from enrolment through to graduation. This position assists students with a wide range of academic issues and concerns, including interpretation of University requirements, policies and procedures, selection of courses and programs and meeting degree requirements. The work of the Academic Counsellor/Undergraduate Program Administrator is accomplished through individual in-person, virtual and electronic interactions, as well as group advising sessions, workshops, webinars and in-person student-focused events, such as Fall/Spring Campus Day, Subject POSt Fair, and Experiential Learning Fair, among other events.
The Academic Counsellor/Undergraduate Program Administrator also provides academic support to the Department of Psychology by assisting with preparing curriculum change documentation and attending Undergraduate Curriculum Review Sessions, course timetabling, attending academic integrity meetings and preparing academic offense documentation for submission to the Academic Integrity Unit.

Pay Scale Group & Hiring Zone:
USW Pay Band 13 — $76,284 with an annual step progression to a maximum of $97,556. Pay scale and job class assignment is subject to determination pursuant to the Job Evaluation/Pay Equity Maintenance Protocol.
