University of the Ozarks invites applications for a current opening as a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Psychology beginning August
2024. Preference will be given to those candidates that have earned a Ph.D. degree in Psychology by the time of employment, although ABD
will be considered. The area of specialization is open, although applicants with expertise in I/O or Social Psychology are preferred. The
desired applicant should have college teaching experience and demonstrate successful student-centered teaching outcomes. In addition,
applicants should desire to working as a team to promote our growing and popular psychology program. The primary responsibilities of this
position include the teaching of psychology courses in a range of content areas, including I/O, social psychology, related subfields and
introductory courses. Additional opportunities to enhance the Psychology program’s curriculum with additional courses and research
that incorporates student involvement are available.

with and understanding of a small residential campus are highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate a strong interest in working with a
culturally diverse student body. Excellent communication skills and strong support of the University’s mission are also required.
