Scope of Job:
To
contribute to the Career Center Employer Relations Team by initiating, cultivating, and growing regional and national employer engagement
with UTRGV students and alums. Coordinate and track engagement via events and student/alum employment positioning.

General supervision from assigned
supervisor.
Supervision Given:
Direct supervision of assigned staff.
Required Education:
Bachelors degree
from an accredited university.
Preferred
Education:
None.
Licenses/Certifications:
None.
Required Experience:
Two (2) years of experience,
such as public relations, human resources, business administration, marketing, communication, economic development, government relations,
student advising, or related field.
Preferred Experience:
Knowledge of career development strategies, economic development,
human resources, and proposal development.
Equipment:
Use of standard office equipment.
Working
Conditions:
Needs to be able to successfully perform all required duties. Office Environment; some travel and weekend work is
required. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. UTRGV is a
distributed institution, which requires presence at multiple locations throughout the Rio Grande Valley.
