The Business Services Supervisor is responsible for managing the business and financial operations of the department of Campus Recreation including three educational and general budgets and 27 restricted accounts. This position is responsible for supporting the human resource processes and systems which includes all human resource duties for approximately 150 student workers, 30+ instructors, 15+ Sport Club coaches, and 20+ continuing employees. Responsible for all department financial accounts, preparation of procurement paperwork, deposits, and record keeping. Full oversight and management of all daily business office functions including oversight and workflow management of 1-3 part time student employees, 1 part time graduate level assistant, and 23+ volunteer Student Sport Club Finance Officers. Full oversight and management of Sport Club financial accounts, purchasing, travel, coaching payments, fundraising, and revenue tracking. Assist department staff with student development of all Sport Center student staff and student leaders from Outdoor Adventures and Bosley Fitness Center. Periodically, this position may be asked to lead or contribute to either ad hoc or ongoing division/campus projects outside the scope of their day-to-day activities.

This position is expected to work flexible hours and be available during prime usage, special events and programming. The Recreation facilities are open 7am – 11pm Monday – Thursday; 7am – 9pm Friday; and 9am – 10pm Saturday – Sunday.
Willing to work flexible hours as activities and events dictate, including weekends and holidays.

Posting Salary:
$5,373.34 – $5,521.10 per month; Excellent Benefits

The salary range provided in this posting reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual compensation offered or earned is dependent on experience, education and other factors including departmental budget.
