Come love where you work. The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford’s Office of Student Affairs is accepting applications for Office Manager. This is a full-time, 12-month position reporting to the Vice President and Dean of Student Affairs (VPSA).
Student Affairs at Pitt-Bradford is made up of a dedicated team of reliable professionals developing creative, purposeful supports and programs to shape a holistic student experience and an inclusive campus. With student well-being and development as the focus, the Office Manager would be joining this team in the exciting, rewarding work of building a 21st century student affairs division in a culture of care and collaboration.
Duties: Responsible for overseeing and managing the administrative operations of the Dean’s Office, including budgets, student workers, workflow, and fundamental office/clerical tasks. Must be able to research issues of interest to the VPSA and assist with projects related to current priorities of the division and the university.
Requirements: An associate degree in office management with one to two years’ experience or high school diploma and work-experience equivalency. Must have advanced computer skills in Excel, Word, Publisher, Power Point, and related programs to keep track of expenditures, reimbursements, student lists, etc. Must possess strong sense of professionalism and excellent grammar, proofreading, and oral and written communication skills.

Department Details: Pitt-Bradford, one of five University of Pittsburgh campuses, sits on a 470-acre campus in the City of Bradford. Bradford is a town of about 10,000 people in northwestern Pennsylvania surrounded by the Allegheny National Forest. Take just a couple steps off campus and you can hike, bike, hunt, fish, canoe, ride horses, etc. Take part in arts and cultural events at the various museums in the area such as the world-famous Zippo/Case Museum as well as the Marilyn Horne Museum and Exhibition Center. Travel a little farther and you will be in beautiful Chautauqua, NY, home of the internationally renowned Chautauqua Institution and its cultural offerings. Bradford is also located less than two hours from the Canadian border and the amazing Niagara Falls.
