Job Description Summary
The purpose of this position is to support an academic research program in the Penn Medicine Department of Radiology. The ideal candidate for this position has an undergraduate degree, is highly motivated, and has an interest in medicine, medical imaging, and anatomy. While there will be opportunities to contribute to published research in the artificial intelligence and medical imaging space, experience in software programming is not an absolute requirement. In this position, the person will annotate medical imaging data, develop standard operating procedures for annotating the imaging data, and maintain spreadsheets and databases, summarize findings with the study team, and prepare descriptions of progress in presentation and written form. In addition, this person is expected to be able to adapt to different roles, including website content, database management, assisting research staff with experiments using imaging devices and data analysis. Previous experience in these areas is encouraged but not required. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree, with 0-1 year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
This position is contingent upon funding.
