The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of complex family planning and the candidate must have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Candidates must be board certified/eligible in obstetrics and gynecology and should be trained and board certified/eligible in Complex Family Planning. Candidates with an interest in academic leadership opportunities are encouraged to apply.
Teaching responsibilities may include teaching and supervising medical students, Ob/Gyn residents and Complex Family Planning fellows.
Clinical responsibilities may include consultations in the Pregnancy Early Access Center (PEACE) in both the ambulatory and inpatient settings at Penn Medicine, based at Penn Medicine University City and Penn Medicine Washington Square. Responsibilities will also include the delivery of benign gynecological care.
