Responsibilities:
Act as a primary point of contact for prospective students, providing information about programs, admission requirements, and application procedures.
Conduct outreach initiatives via phone, email, and other means to engage and nurture relationships with potential applicants.
Collaborate with various teams within the department to coordinate recruitment events, workshops, and information sessions aimed at attracting and retaining prospective students.
Assist in the development of marketing materials, content creation for social media platforms, and other communication strategies to promote the masters and professional learning portfolio at Penn Engineering.
Evaluate applicant qualifications, assist with application review, and offer guidance on completing admission requirements.
Maintain accurate records of interactions with prospective students and track engagement efforts using Slate.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years of experience, preferably in higher education admissions counseling, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with admissions systems preferred (Slate preferred)
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and to exhibit self-direction and motivation.
Demonstrated ability to handle and prioritize diverse tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to interact with people of diverse constituency groups.
Excellent organizational skills.
