Job Description
*
Oversees campus wide fire and life safety efforts. Serves as
the “Authority Having Jurisdiction” responsibility for all building and specialty permits on campus property. Provides technical,
professional guidance, and leadership to the University community on a wide range of fire and life safety issues. Provides operational
management of the fire safety program. Serves as the University representative and point of liaison with State and local authorities.

Bachelors Degree in Fire Science, Fire Prevention/Protection or related field
Skills:
Strong knowledge of National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Codes, International Fire Codes,
International Building Codes, International Codes (ICC), and all State adopted codes
