Job Summary:
The intercollegiate athletics program is an integral part of the university striving to achieve the same standards of excellence in athletics that exist within academic programs. The program is concerned with the physical and mental welfare of the student and strives to ensure that every athlete has the opportunity to succeed academically and obtain a degree. Sport programs are a vital function of the University at large.
This position is responsible for the successful planning, direction and administration of all aspects of the University’s NCAA Division I Baseball Program.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
At least five (5) years of successful coaching/playing Baseball at the college/professional level or related experience required. Experience at the Division I Ievel preferred

Salary and Benefits:
Salary range is $55,000-$70,000. Benefits available include health, dental, vision, life and long-term disability insurance, as well as a selection of several defined contribution retirement plans. Dependents and spouses of UNC Employees who are employed at 0.5 FTE or above are eligible for undergraduate dependent tuition grants of up to 50%. These tuition grants will cover in-state tuition charges. Further requirements may exist. Other benefits may be available based on position.

Satisfactory completion of a background check, educational check, and authorization to work in the United States is required after a conditional offer of employment has been made. The successful candidate must submit original transcripts within one (1) month of hire.
