Position Summary:
UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health, Department of Nutrition is implementing two exciting research studies—the All of Us Research Program and the first All of Us ancillary study, Nutrition for Precision Health (NPH). All of Us is a unique research program funded by the NIH to build one of the most diverse health databases in history with a goal of recruiting at least one million participants from across the country. A subset of All of Us participants will also be recruited into Nutrition for Precision Health, powered by the All of Us Research Program with the study goal of developing algorithms that predict individual responses to food and dietary patterns. The UNC Clinical Center (UNC-CC) is one of six clinical centers across the country that will recruit a diverse cohort of adults from rural and urban communities and implement the All of Us and NPH study protocols with the aim of studying variability in physiologic responses to diet. The UNC-CC includes two data collection locations one at the UNC Nutrition Research Institute in Kannapolis one in Chapel Hill.
Come join our new team as we begin work on these innovative studies. Working under the general supervision of the Research Project Manager and the Site Coordinator, this Research Assistant will be responsible for a variety of duties.
