Position Summary
UNM’s Facilities Management (FM) is looking to hire a Service Call Coordinator to join our FM Work Control division. The qualified candidate will serve as a primary customer contact regarding such matters as pricing, scheduling, and work order generation. Records and monitors all labor, materials, and other pertinent data into a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Software) system. Candidate should possess basic knowledge of building systems equipment and maintenance trades assignments.

• All regular, non-temporary positions assigned to this classification are represented by a labor union and subject to the terms and conditions of the US-UNM Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Employees who provide services or work in patient care or clinical areas are required to be in compliance with the University’s influenza vaccination requirement.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Able
  to prioritize tasks, be organized, pay attention to detail, and have
  outstanding customer service skills.
• Call center experience.
• Problem solving abilities.
• Ability to work with a Computerized Maintenance Management Software
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Basic accounting knowledge principles.
