Salary range: $116,389 – $178,851
On-Call:
$7.50 per hour for all Tiers.
Shift Differential:
Afternoon shifts: $4.00 per hour Monday-Thursday / $6.00 per hour Friday – Sunday
Night shifts: $4.50 per hour Monday-Thursday / $7.00 per hour Friday – Sunday
Day shifts: $3.50 per hour Saturday-Sunday

Responsibilities*
To provide direct cardiac specialty health care to patients and families in the acute inpatient and outpatient electrophysiology setting including performing of procedures. Practice will be in partnership with attending EP cardiology faculty and fellows. To provide health education to patients; and to provide educational experiences for health care professionals. Will: Utilize the nursing process as a framework for managing client/family care. Assess, diagnose and treat health problems for the MWE cardiac electrophysiology patient population. Perform health assessments including patient history, physical examinations, diagnostic tests and appropriate interventions or referrals. Document patients care and progress and maintain complete and detailed patient records. Provide health education. Develop and implement patient education programs. Present workshops, lectures and in-service programs. Serve as a preceptor for graduate nursing and nurse practitioner students. Participate in the development of policies, procedures and protocols including standards of care. Participate in research projects.

This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the United Physician Assistants of Michigan Medicine, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
