Job Summary
The College of Pharmacy is seeking a Research Administrative Coordinator for a multisite, randomized controlled trial to reduce dental opioid prescribing.
This position will serve as the principal regulatory contact for research procedures. They will provide guidance to personnel across approximately 10 research sites and ensure compliance of research programs with NIH, local, state, federal, and institutional regulations for human subject research.
The Coordinator will prepare and submit all IRB applications, modifications, and other reports (i.e., violations, summary of adverse events, etc.), and ensure adherence to all protocols through activities such as field site visits and record audits. They will manage clinical trial registration and related components.
Additional duties include developing and managing participant recruitment, including identification and recruitment of participants, reviewing eligibility requirements to ensure all protocol requirements are met and presenting research information and consents to participants.
The Coordinator will prepare invoices for payment and analyze/approve requests for reimbursement and monitor and evaluate project expenditures.
We are seeking candidates with strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills and excellent attention to detail. Experience with REDCap and engaging dispersed teams is preferred.
