Position Overview
The Assistant Researcher will serve as a
member of the Center for Research Methods Consultation (CRMC) and assist with the data collection, entry, cleaning, analytic processes, and
report write-up. The Assistant Researcher will collaborate with other staff at the center to carry out the scope of work associated with
research and evaluation activities. The position is grant-funded and is housed within the Achievement and Assessment Institute. It reports
to the CRMC Director.
Job Description
80% – Assist CRMC staff with research and evaluation
activities, including instrument design/selection, data collection, data cleaning, and data analysis.
Work with center staff to
implement a data collection plan, administer surveys to project participants and clean the associated data prior to
analysis.
15% – The Assistant Researcher will assist with research reports and manuscript development by conducting
extensive literature reviews and assist with reviewing all written documents and materials.
5% – Other duties as
assigned by the center Director.
Position Requirements
This position is part-time working approximately 10
hours per week.
