Position Summary
The Ricks Center for Gifted Children at the University of Denver is an exemplary program designed for gifted children. We provide nationally recognized gifted education to approximately 250 students aged three through eighth grade, demonstrating exceptional, differentiated abilities and learning needs. Our mission is to provide a dynamic and challenging educational environment that anticipates and responds to gifted children’s individual, intellectual, social, emotional, physical, aesthetic, and cognitive needs. We seek qualified individuals to lead and assist with our summer programming at Ricks Center for Gifted Children. We are looking for energetic people willing to work full-time and part-time shifts.
This is a part-time, non-benefited position not to exceed 1000 hours in one calendar year.

Physical Activities
Must have the physical ability to lead and participate in camp activities which include, but are not limited to hiking, swimming, team building initiatives, physical games, lifting, and sports / physical activities.

The duration of this position is from June 1, 2023 to August 15, 2023.

Hourly Range
The hourly range for the position is $20.00-$26.00.
The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidates sex or any other protected status.
