Position Summary
Assistant Program Directors at the Graduate School of Social Work (GSSW) perform a broad range of management and operations duties related to either the MSW@Denver online MSW Program, or the on-site Denver Campus MSW Program. Assistant Program Directors report directly to a Program Director. These positions are integral to program success and require development of collaborative and supportive relationships with faculty, staff, and internal and external education partners. Ideal candidates possess the ability to work with a cross-functional team of professionals across many School and University disciplines. The Assistant Program Directors are a key point of interface in coordinating logistics between GSSW departments, University of Denver administration, education partners, and students. In addition to coordinating logistics, the Assistant Program Directors are involved with curricular deployment and improvement to ensure that it retains alignment with the other GSSW MSW programs and the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accreditation standards. The Assistant Program Directors act as the primary contact for their assigned program and may supervise student and administrative staff positions.
This posting is for a part-time (estimated 28 hours per week) position with a primary support assignment of the MSW@Denver Program.

Part-time, 28 hours a week
Hours will generally be scheduled within the timeframe of Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. This position is eligible for consideration of flexible scheduling and some remote work accommodation as determined in discussion with the supervisor. All remote work must be completed within the United States.

The salary grade for the position is 9.
Hourly Range:
The hourly range for the position is $28.10-$33.21

The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidates sex or any other protected status.
