JOB SUMMARY
The University of Connecticut, Avery Point is seeking applications for the position of Academic Advisor 2. Working under the general direction and administrative guidance of the Director of Academic Affairs, the incumbent will be responsible for supervising faculty and staff advisors and working collaboratively across campus(es) to promote and implement programs and services that support student success through advising.
The incumbent will participate in an advising experience designed to develop a positive student experience at UConn Avery Point and is responsible for the day-to-day administrative activities to support the coordination, promotion, and delivery of student success and retention programming within academic advising for Avery Point. This individual will provide support and guidance to students as well as identify overall goals for campus retention efforts.

This is a full-time position. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
Other rights, terms, and conditions of employment are contained in the collective bargaining agreement between the University of Connecticut and the University of Connecticut Professional Employees Association (UCPEA).
