The Rady School of Management provides business education through its MBA degree programs, PhD

The Director of Corporate
Partnerships is charged with developing and implementing the Rady School’s cohesive outreach strategy for engaging key corporate partners
for the benefit of the school and the business community. Working in close collaboration with senior leadership, the Director of Corporate
Partnerships will advance student recruitment, job and internship placements, executive education as well as ties that will promote faculty
research and our centers of excellence.
This leadership position brokers, develops and sustains corporate partnerships for the UC
San Diego’s Rady School of Management. The position takes action to maximize the value of the relationships between the corporate community
and the UCSD Rady School of Management, aligning the priorities of the Dean of the Rady School and the Rady areas of Graduate Programs,
particularly the Admissions and Careers area, and tangentially Executive Education, Development and Alumni Relations.
The Director
advises the Rady School leadership on issues related to industry engagement, and ensures the opportunity for industry partners to
communicate their priorities as it relates to the future of their industry.

deliver and document new opportunities for:
This position provides an interface between Rady and the business community, expanding the Rady School brand to new
partners and enhancing the brand with existing partners. The position represents the Rady School to senior executives in corporations and
executive directors in industry associations. With input from senor leadership, the Director tailors strategies to different industries in
San Diego and elsewhere.
All responsibilities require high levels of independent thinking, autonomy, decision-making and action,
relationship building at executive levels and handling of sensitive information. The Director is expected to be knowledgeable about the Rady
School’s educational programs, executive education offerings, and marketing messages. Performance of these duties requires a high degree of
independence, professionalism, and demonstrated experience with industry-university partnership programs

Pay Range: $78,900 – $179,900 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $37.79 – $86.16

licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the
budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader
than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when
applicable).
