The UCLA Music Department invites applications for a part-time lecturer position in classical voice, as a sabbatical replacement for the 2023-24 academic year. Salary commensurate with applicant qualifications and experience; percentage of appointment commensurate with studio size.

Responsibilities may include the following: individual instruction and recital preparation of graduate and undergraduate classical voice students, participation in departmental auditions and juries as well as diction, literature, and vocal pedagogy courses.

Applicants should have at least eight years of experience teaching vocal technique at the college/university level, expertise and experience in the principles of vocal pedagogy, and knowledge of broad repertoires for classical voice. A post-baccalaureate degree is preferred.

The application deadline is June 4, 2023, with an anticipated appointment date of October 1, 2023.
