Position Description:
The UCLA Office of Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) is a highly-specialized, interdisciplinary team of environmental, safety, and emergency preparedness & response professionals providing risk, safety, and emergency response services to the campus community at UCLA. The Executive Assistant (EA) provides support to facilitate the administrative work of the Assistant Vice Chancellor (AVC) and senior EH&S leadership. The incumbent provides executive level support for the AVC’s daily activities, including calendar duties, meeting preparation, correspondence, and supporting strategic projects. The EA researches, drafts and edits correspondence, provides administrative and project support for events and projects, and prepares presentations and briefings. The EA also coordinates travel arrangements, including itinerary preparations and travel portfolios, and prepares and processes travel reimbursements and expense reports.
The EA regularly interacts with senior leaders and stakeholders, using discretion with confidential or otherwise highly sensitive information.
Special Instructions:
The target salary range for this position is between the posted minimum and $6,250 monthly.
