Summary of Job Duties:
The Administrative Specialist II is responsible for distributing
incoming mail and packages; forwarding undeliverable mail; preparing regular, certified, registered, and express mail for proper handling
and delivery on all routes. This position also maintains the database for all USPS incoming mail services charges for the accounting team on
a daily basis with accuracy for end of month billing. The return receipts that come in from all routes are put in this person’s area for
proper filing. This position is also trained to cover in the Copy & Ship area for breaks and lunch and is the primary position to cover
accepting Passports in the Passport Acceptance Area by certification through the Department of State regulations.
Regular, reliable,
and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships
with others.
